Mr. B’s Gentlemen’s Boutique Suede Laceless Oxfords

Everything that you may have been avoiding on a pair of shoes is what you should get this season.

Are you even familiar with Mr. B’s Gentlemen’s Boutique?
It’s the “higher-end” line for Aldo’s mens footwear.

Made with quality in mind, these bad boys fit like a glove.
A pair of shoes that would look even nicer as it gets dirty and worn out. From a pair of denim of any wash to coloured trousers and shorts, you cannot ask for a more versatile shoes.

It indicates that the colour is “beige” but these oxfords look more like grey in person. It may just be the tone of the soles that makes it appear more yellow but anyway, wear the crap out of ‘em and enjoy the warmer days.

When they get all dirty by the end of summer, they’d then be perfect for fall.

how label deficiency like.

Woven Leather Lace-Up Shoes

There was the smoking slippers that were nice and simple without the “oohs!” and “aahs!” last season that everybody was doing. Heck, I think almost every brand made their own version of it. And since it has been mass produced and has been accessed by every “fashionably trendy” person, I think it’s about time I set my pair aside and find a replacement for them.

I may have just found the perfect substitute for them.
Woven leather lace-ups are the new shit. ha! I did it first. Yeah, well.. maybe not but I don’t see your favourite blogger sporting it. screw you. (evil laughter)

They’re different enough to stand out but not too unusual that they’d be trendy.
It’s my sartorial way. You can quote me on that.

A new staple that is a good combination of formal and casual.

488g Tweed Wool Shoes

What makes a perfect recipe for a man’s footwear this winter??

japanese wool tweed
khaki waxed canvas
brown buffalo leather
biscuit pig nappa
anatomic rubber sponge
natural rubber
acrylic multi-coloured

Though it may seem like the design could turn into a loud disaster with the amount of materials, the creative minds of the Gram team has instead successfully executed a beautiful pair of man shoes.
These are the combination of most well known classics that a man would normally wear.

It’s no wonder these are a favourite of the head designer himself.

current desire: CultureShoq x Sebago (Nexus Project) Boots

I was debating a couple of days ago whether to get them or not but I could not come up with a decision until now. After a little bit of google-in’ research, I found out that only 48 pairs of each style were made which is why my desire for a pair has gone even greater. I’m starting to think that the ones that I like are the either the collaboration pieces or the limited editions.

You might be thinking, “those are a couple of seasons ago..”, well I say, “screw you.” These boots are really nice.

To be honest with, what made me really like them was my amazing lacing ability.
look at that beauty! skills.

Oh, Sheep!

Yes, they are completely warm and comfortable but I promised myself that I will never sport these boots outside of the four walls that I live in. I suppose it’s just unacceptable for a man of my age and they’re just plain awkward to be stared at and feel judged by every single set of eyes around you. It is quite idiotic that  people do that but I cannot blame them. On the other hand, they do not give any support to a person’s feet that walking in them for a couple of hours will most likely strain your ankles. I do not know how others do it but I not the one to find out. Heck, I can’t even confidently wear them at home when there are visitors in the house.

The only reason I have a pair is to keep my feet warm since I live in a basement. That’s all.
oh, and I got them for just $35!

Though it is possible for myself to wear the boots outside and be able to pull ‘em off, I do not think it’s wise to be spotted in the streets of downtown Vancouver where you will pass by more than a dozen women wearing the same exact footwear as yourself. I may as well wear a pair of  Lululemon yoga pants while I’m at it.`

gram

I came across a brand of shoes that I haven’t heard of.
I find that the design is clean and simple, though there is something quite unusual about it. As simple as  they are, there’s a distinct design in the footwear that one may call a signature.

The design method fits the description that I tend to look for when it comes to shopping for footwear.
neat, aren’t they?

the pair I’m wearing is a 445 gram.

Gram is all about making sophisticated sneakers. We create shoes that fill the gap between sneakers and traditional shoes.

Our roots lie in the Scandinavian design aestetic; design with clean lines and attention to details. Each model being unique in its own simplicity.

The brand is centered around the concept of weight, with each shoe being named after its weight in grams.

Leather, nylon, rubber, canvas, wool, suede - at Gram we love shoes. In particular shoes that you can wear at the office as well as on a night out.

The 2011 NikeMag

Remember Back to the Future?!
who doesn’t?

Nike actually made Marty McFly’s kicks and you only less than an hour to get a hold of them.

The logo lights up for up to 4 hours in a single charge! aaah! it’s too awesome!

I bet you most fashion bloggers are too focused on NYFW and does not know about these.
yes, yes, they are not one of those expensive, high-end brands that you’ll see on the runway, but I want them. really bad. so bad that I’d…… you get the idea.

And of course all I can do is dream of these shoes because there is no way in hell I can afford a pair.
The lowest bid I see right now is $5,600 and the highest is $12,000.

another dream crushed. sigh.

on the brighter note, all net proceeds from the auction sales will go directly to the Michael J. Fox Foundations for Parkinson’s Research.

So if you have the extra thousand dollars lying around, go bid on a pair and rub in on my face when you get them.
